Multi-cup Scoring
Our multi-cup scoring option allows you to have up to three cups of varying difficulty levels on each hole. The cups are distinguished by color (red = hard, yellow = medium, green = easy) and offer different point values. Scores are determined by both the number of strokes taken, and the point value of the hole the ball is sunk in.
The multi-cup capabilities help boost the competition by leveling the playing field. With traditional mini golf scoring, if a player is significantly behind in the scoring by mid-game, there is little likelihood of them catching up. With multi-cup scoring, they have the option to go for a harder hole to get them back in the game.
In addition to a point value score, strokes are still tracked as well, so players that prefer traditional scoring can still enjoy that option, even with multiple cups.
Midpoint Sensors
Props play a significant role in most mini golf attractions. They are an easy way to add to your theme and create the opportunity for more challenging shots around your course. Our midpoint sensors create an incentive for players to take trick shots through and under props on your course.
A small sensor is placed on your prop that detects when the ball passes under it and rewards a point bonus for doing so, encouraging players to go for the risker putts in order to earn the larger reward. Like the multi-cup scoring option, this also gives players behind in the scoring a chance to catch back up later in the game, keeping them in the competition.
