Putt Mania in Action: Our First Live Installation

Two years in the making and it is finally here – our first live Putt Mania location is live at Zap Zone XL in Lansing, Michigan. Let’s take a closer look behind the scenes at the installation and how everything is going now.
A New Endeavor
Since 1997, our team has installed over 500 LaserBlast systems all over the world. We were excited for the first installation of our new product, but we knew that it might be a bit of a learning curve. Over the period of a couple of weeks, we had sent several members of our team out to Lansing to help with the project.
Like just about any project, some things went a little differently than we anticipated. We discovered adjustments we plan to make for our next installation to simplify the process. After all the hard work, we were thrilled to see Putt Mania up and running at a live FEC for the first time! Check out the video below for a closer look at our install.
It's Go Time
On its first weekend, Putt Mania saw close to 700 players at Zap Zone XL! We closely monitored the gameplay closely and how their staff and guests interacted with the system. It was wonderful to finally see everything in action in a live setting.
We had the opportunity to speak with many of the players that went through and the response was overwhelmingly positive. We were so happy to see the players enjoying their enhanced mini golf experience!
What's Next
Over the next several weeks, we are going to be closely monitoring Putt Mania to assure that everything is functioning properly. During the install, we were able to identify some areas of opportunity that we will be working on improving prior to our next installation.
